Hello:
I was ordained in Ripon (now Leeds) Diocese in 1989, and ministered in the City of Leeds until 2002 when I moved to Southwark Diocese to become the Vicar of St Giles with St Matthew, Camberwell. I really enjoyed being part of that parish and community for more than 20 years.
I continue to be involved in accompanying people in spiritual direction – and I will develop this listening accompaniment outside of my part-time responsibilities as Chaplain.
Before ordination I worked in the field of civil and structural engineering as a draughtsman, and also worked at St Christopher’s Hospice as an auxiliary nurse, and lay chaplain. I enjoys walking, reading and visiting art galleries and museums. I live with my civil-partner Mark in the Chaplain’s flat.
I am glad to have started sharing in the pastoral care and worship of the Colleges. The staff, collegians and trustees have maintained and developed the buildings and life of Bromley & Sheppards Colleges as a welcoming, thriving and prayerful community.
I look forward to offering pastoral care and support and to continuing listening & learning together – discerning our continuing vocation to live as children of God.
My Mobile number is 07771 603 217 which is most straightforwardly used for texts, or do leave a voicemail
